How much does a local removal cost?
This varies in content and/or volume, however it can vary from anything from £250 upwards, depending on what floor, the number of vans and how many removal men are required etc.
What is the average cost of moving a 3 bedroom house?
Roughly , for a local removal, the cost would be around £595/£795
When is payment due?
Payment is due the day before, or in some exceptions on the day
Do you disconnect washing machines?
Yes, we can certainly help you do this
Do you offer removals at the weekend?
Yes, no problem!
What sizes are the removals boxes?
We use medium and large boxes. The medium size are 457mm x 305mm x 305mm. The large size are 450mm x 450mm x 508mm
How can I transport fragile items?
We use protective equipment for wrapping fragile furniture. It is always worth getting the removal men to do this or ask how they are best packed, that is if you are looking to do the packing yourself. Most removal companies can provide packing materials to help you!
Are my goods insured?
Yes, certainly. We offer £50,000 goods in transit insurance, which can be increased at an additional cost if you require
Do I have to empty my drawers?
No, you don’t. We can take the draws out, then lift the carcass into the van, put the draws back in and wrap in a cushioning blanket
What time does the van arrive for a full house move?
Generally if it is a sale and purchase, 8/8.30am. Depending on where and how much volume there is we sometimes load the day before, again this always depends on each customer’s needs and requirements
I live on a road with no parking - what are my options?
We appreciate this sometimes can’t be helped and we advise customers in this situation to simply inform the neighbours and council
I don't have a car - Can I travel in the removal van too?
Yes, no problem (if there is room)! Always best to ask before moving day
